So I've needed to lose weight for a while, and just last week I got braces (for the second time). So right now chewing is difficult at best. I have a feeling this will help me lose weight though. All week MFP had been telling me I'm not eating enough calories (under 1,000 each day).

Does anyone have any good, healthy, easy to eat soup or smoothie recipes they'd like to share?

I would LOVE to share a soup recipe with you! It is 400 something calories per serving but is DELICIOUS and takes 15 minutes to make!

    Fiesta Chicken Soup (serves 4)

1 can of no sugar added sweet corn
1 can of reduced sodium chicken broth
1 can of black beans (I use dark red kidney beans)
    1 can of chili beans
1 large can of chunk light chicken
1 cup of chunky salsa (I use medium)
    1 cup of shredded cheese

Put everything in a pot except the cheese. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Serve with a handful of fritos and a dollop of light sour cream! ENJOY! (We LOVE this recipe and make it weekly! Lots of protein but be careful, it is high in sodium!

I keep thinking about other soups you might try. Egg Drop Soup and the Greek soup Avgolemono. Both have egg as a protein source. This Crab and Corn Soup is good too. soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2014/04/crab-and-corn-soup.html
