I've been working out and eating so well . But today I went into weigh myself and it seems I'm even heavier then I was before ... I Immediately broke out in tears I find motivation in reading people stories of motivation and weight loss and I hope that this doesn't discourage me from continuing this journey to my goal weight . I know I'm not extremely heavy but my goal is to look good in a bathing suit not only covering my weight in clothes that make me look thin. All of my friends are just so thin and it makes this so hard.

Please don't be discouraged, I found that when I first started on my journey I didn't notice any weight really falling off for the first few weeks which I found strange. I am so glad I stuck with it as I've made progress since that time. Are you logging your meals in your diary and tracking food? If you're within your calorie goal then you will start seeing that scale shift. However don't just rely on the scales, take pictures and compare them week on week to see how you're getting on. I've sent a FR and would happily try and help you keep motivated and offer support. Don't beat yourself up though, you CAN do this and you sound like you want to which is great!

How much weight do you really need to lose? Are you so worried about the number on the scale that you are not paying attention to the mirror? Here is the deal...........Pay attention........... A fat person is a marshmallow, a person that has only lost weight is a smaller marshmallow. The only way to change from a marshmallow to a rock is to lift weights.
What does that mean? Stop worrying about your weight and start working on your muscle.

It's very important to use a food scale to weigh everything you eat and log everything as well.
You may be eating very "healthfully" but if you're eating too much-you won't lose!!!

Don't just rely on the scale. Measure yourself today and add those measurements to MFP. I measure once a month and find that sometimes when the scale isn't moving, the measurements are.
