I only like flavoured green tea. Twinings do great flavours like cherry bakewell, salted caramel and fudge. My favourite is mint green tea though, it's very refreshing x

Other than "It hydrated me some and tasted ok", what results are you expecting people to have seen?

I think she's getting at the rumor floating around that green tea acts as a boost in cutting weight.

There is conflicting data to suggest whether or not green tea affects rates of weight loss.

Quote from conclusion from one of the above papers "There are a considerable number of RCTs (Randomized controlled trials) to suggest that green tea does reduce body weight in the short term, but this not likely to be of clinical relevance"

However, personally, even if it does not directly influence weight loss, I find that after drinking my goal of 8 glasses of water and 3 cups of green tea a day I'm less likely to want soda on top of this. Green tea is a little more substantial and flavourful than water. @jellytot3 the Twinings flavours are amazing!

Results? When I've drank green tea, I've gotten a caffeine buzz and I've peed a lot.

Green tea has no magic properties, and the only way it will help you lose weight is to substitute drinking green tea (or any other non-caloric beverage, even water!) for eating food (because it has calories, and a surplus of same leads to weight gain).

    This.

Having said that, a nice cup of green tea is really soothing when you have a cold.

It left a bitter taste on my tongue. I dumped it down the drain, and poured a cuppa coffee.

I love the twinnings green tea with lemon. It's the only hot drink I have so its a nice change from diet soda and water, but can't say I've noticed any changes due to drinking it.
