Are the calories burned modified per individual's weight? LIke when you choose your exercise and it tells you how many calories were burned in that amt of time, is that modified for YOUR weight or just in general? We're taking the kids to Jumpology and will be trampolining for 1 hr. I've looked at various sources and they're all diff. as to how many calories I'll be burning. Once source says over 400. All the others are anywhere from 150-250. MFP says 240.

Hi:
My experience is that MFP calories burned are just general estimates. They are not adjusted for each individual body weight at that day. Gym machines are imprecise as well.
I use a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) for cardio calories burned. I use a Polar FT7 that I can customize for my daily body weight and maximum heart rate.
I hope it helps0 -
I'm pretty sure MFP does take weight into account. Obsoive:
