Something fun to try that my co-worker and I started

Every bathroom break - do about 10 lunges - so drink lots of water/tea

It adds up and extra calorie burn by the end of the day!

I doubt that it would really affect one's overall TDEE by being that much of a calorie burn.

But who am I to poo-poo someones fun.

    Have at it!

That's what I was hoping for too.

Maybe we should just start one.

Its more of a challenge to keep moving through the day and any calories burned is better than none with a fitness tracker. I do weighted squats every morning too.

A bunch of people did it this week.

Bodyweight on the bar and AMRAP.

Someone did it for 46 - which is totally insane...

I like doing something like that just because it's a good way to keep up and moving instead of sitting for 8 straight hours.

But yeah- I won't be counting any of that into my daily calories. at all. It's bonus work.

I started my own squat challenge. On my first 15 minute break I do squats, full sit ups, full push ups and reverse push ups with legs extended. (no I do not add this into my exercise for the day, I always try to add it to my diary notes tho to keep track of what I do)

as for the squats I did 50 on the first day, then I add 5 per day, so by the end of the week I do an additional 25 squats. By the end of the month I should be able to do 250 in one session. Today I'm up to 100 :) its just my own thing seeing if I have a ghetto booty somewhere......

    OK, I'll be "that guy."

How is this a "squat challenge," if you're doing lunges, but not squats?

Not that it really matters. I just find it kinda funny.

I wish I had known about this before. I might have tried it - not sure how many I could do with 180-185 lb. Should be able to do at least 20, but 46? Daaaaaaaamn.

I can routinely do 50 reps with my bodyweight. Working up to 100 reps; I can do it with 135, but 185 is just a tad bit harder, KWIM?
