From July 2012 until January 2013, I lost about 43 lbs. From January until now I have been maintaining my weight. I am happy!!! I feel better than I have felt in years and I have had a ton of compliments. I would consider myself to be average. I am 5"10, 138 lbs, wear a size 10 pants, medium tops. My mom was talking to me on Monday and told me her boyfriend thought I looked anorexic. I was shocked!!! Since when did healthy become anorexic? No matter what my weight is, it seems like people always have things to say. I worked hard for my body and don't appreciate people being so critical!! Anyone else have people say mean comments after you lose a bunch of weight?

you know your within the healthy weight for your height and you feel better about yourself, sometimes family and friends are used to the way you were and it takes them time to get used to the change in your appearence. some people its just preference, especially men and the older generation .. ' women should have more meat on their bones' or ' your a growing man, you need to beef up' . Its what you are happy with and you look great :)

It's just the change in you that he's finding hard to comprehend. You do look much slimmer everywhere, particularly your face, but no, not anorexic. Just the weight loss has shown up your features more clearly, like your eyes.

And perhaps he's the sort of guy who 'likes' larger build ladies - just as some find slimmer build ones more to their liking - so anyone of that lower weight would look very different to him.

I have noticed that when someone has lost a lot of weight it takes some time to get used to the new look.

Just give them time! They are used to you being bigger. From the looks of your photos you are nice and healthy!
