    How about Jian? It's a one eyed bird in Chinese mythology if I recall correctly.

    Or Ankh, which means eye in my native language. There's also a one eyed Hindu Goddess, couldn't remember her name so googled it: Manasa, she's a snake goddess.

    I had a one eyed cat when I was a kid. We named him geek, mainly because when he meowed it sounded more like geeeekkk than meow.
