A few months from 40 and new to the MFP boards!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say hello. Like many of you here, I am here to work on my health and fitness, and looking for a supportive community. I began having weight related health issues with too much stress on joints, etc. and decided it was time to go on this adventure. I've been using another tracking program since Feb 5 and switched to MFP more recently. I am considered obese according to BMI and have thus far lost 22 lbs. Right now it is challenging because I'm in a stage of losing no weight or one pound one week, then losing two or three, then back to nothing. I eat under my calories, walk 2 miles a day with my dogs and do small resistance workouts, but sometimes it feels like progress is slow to non-existent. I don not understand my body!! I'm sure you have all been there. Support or advice greatly appreciated! Hope everyone here is doing well on your journey. Looking forward to meeting you all.
