Still confused about calories, goals & exercise

I have lost about 3 stone so far but I still feel I've got 7-10 pounds to lose. I am 5 foot 8 and 143 pounds currently eating 1450 calories as I have my goals set to 1lb loss a week. Should I have this set to 0.5lbs now with so little to lose? Basically I ate within my calories easily through the week and then overeat on a weekend so I'm not seeing the weight loss drops that I'd like. I have been eating probably 80-90% of my exercise calories back (normally an hour swimming or in the gym) but should I be only eating 50% of them back? I weigh everything from soft cheese to butter to vegetables so I know I'm very accurate with logging. I do not use cups and spoons, only grams.

If eating back 80-90% of your calories has worked for you so far, no reason it shouldn't now. I'd set MFP to lose 0.5 lb/week now, and continue being extremely accurate about food and exercise calories (because of the small deficit it's easier to go overboard).
I'm 5'8" too and 143 lbs is my goal weight. Good luck!

How much are you overeating on the weekend? If it makes you go over your weekly calorie limit, that's a problem.

You should eat your exercise calories back if your exercise app syncs with MFP and MFP recalculates your daily limit.

Why not try 1lb during the week and .5 or maintenance during the weekend. Having that extra buffer might help out.
    Good luck!

If you are eating at a 500 calorie deficit but you aren't seeing drops of 1lb per week, it is likely that you are overestimating your exercise. Something you can do is average your weight loss over the past three weeks, subtract that number from 1lb and then multiply by 500. That will tell you how many calories per day you are overestimating your exercise by.
