New to FP

I am about to hit a milestone this year and decided to see if I could get my weight down to the goal of a hundred ninety pounds that I set 3 or 4 years ago and never hit. my son in law told me about Fitness Pal and I've never been on a diet or anything like this so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not exactly sure how much I weighed when I started but I think in two weeks I've lost somewhere around 5 pounds
