Are Jillian Michaels videos (well rounded) enough?

I've finally decided to make permanent lifestyle changes to lose weight AND become more fit. I've lost about 8 pounds in 2months - a bit slow, but hopefully permanent.
I'm confused about exercise. I'm handling that at home b/c I don't have the time or budget to join a gym. I've been focusing on Jillian Michaels videos and I love how they're short but I can feel it the next day. (I have access to all of them either via YouTube or my library so I can mix them up) Is that enough?
Am i missing something important with her workouts? Should I be doing more with hands weights (she uses some in her videos). If there's more to do at home, can you recommend videos? I'm starting at ground zero here and really trying to do this properly.
As background, I'm in my late 30s, 5'0 and started @ 159 lbs.

Hi Working Mom! I've done several of her workout videos (I highly recommend the 30 Day Shred and Banish Fat-Boost Metabolism - this one is longer but tough and you will get results fast if you do it twice a week). I also workout with a Personal Trainer two days a week and we do many of the same exercises that she does too - because you are targeting so many muscle groups at once that you burn more calories than if you went for a walk or short run. My PT recommends her videos all the time to people. So, I guess this time you can believe the Hype. haha
If you feel like you want to challenge yourself try doing two of her 20 minute workouts back to back - or try adding in the P90X Ab Ripper 15 minute workout - you can get it at your Library. The other P90X or Insanity workouts are great too but definately for someone who has NO problems doing high impact moves.
Good Luck with your workouts!! Hope I helped!0
