should I be more concerned about staying in my calorie range- or meeting my nutrition goals? I can't seem to do both? Also... When I input certain foods- say cottage cheese the numbers came back way off... What's up?

Database can be inaccurate. If what you're inputting doesn't match your container, make your own entry.
In regards to calories or nutrition, I do both. I aim to hit my calories each day. You will rarely get 100% for all of your tracked nutrients. As long as I hit a reasonable minimum for my goals, I don't fret too much. Hitting one or a few close to my goal is just a bonus.

How do I manually adjust sugars and such on nutrition? I scanned and it still didn't have the right amounts? Thanks so much!

Weight loss is about calories, math and eating at a deficit. Simple as that :)

I don't know if you can manually adjust nutritional figures from scanned items. I've just been typing them in. The form makes that pretty fast.

Sarasmaintaining- I struggle with eating enough calories as it is... Although I am trying to loose weight- keeping my calories at a deficit has done me NO favors...hashimotos keeps the weight packed on :( I'm hoping that keeping my calories at goal while making sure they are really nutritios ones that the weight will come off. It's not as easy as just keeping a deficit.
