I usually get canned salmon for convenience & was wondering the differences of Pink Salmon, Sock Eye Salmon, or any other salmon, or if I should even be eating canned salmon. I'm not much for cooking so canned works well for tortillas & eating out of the can or with a cracker, etc. Any help please? Thanks in advance....Mike

I only use the red salmon in a can once in a while as with all the bones and scales and such I find that you don't end up with much meat after cleaning it. I know some people eat the bones, but I don't. One thing that does help is to chill the can overnight. It makes cleaning it much easier and less messy.
