A balancing act!

Good morning!

I have been using MFP for a week, and have a question on balancing my calories and nutrients to achieve the proper balance.

I have consistently been below my calorie goal, but high in the protein count.
Are there sample daily meal plans that demonstrate foods that will add calories without exceeding the protein and sugar allotments?

I have had weight issues for over 40 years. My last diet plan, while very successful, was extremely difficult to follow. I lost over 200 pounds, maintained for a year, then gained around 100 back. It was all protein and no sugar. Now I am finding it difficult to follow a plan that allows limited carbs and sugars. I am still stacking on the proteins.
