Getting started AGAIN!

Hi ladies and gentleman. I am ashvin from malaysia. I am 187pounds and i am 5 feet 8 inches. I am able to lose weight but i gained them back double the amount. Can anyone point me in the correct direction. Please take note i am a malaysian. Thanks.
