Hungry after workout?

I don't always feel hungry after a good workout but sometimes I do. I try to ignore it but tonight my stomach is growling something fierce. what would be a good low calorie post workout snack?

  • Try some cottage cheese or a piece of fruit!
  • Feeling hungry after workout is normal but avoid eating anything for half an hour and then you could start by drink natural fruit juice and a light snack which should be high in protein

    Thanks! I actually had 1/2C cottage cheese with a tablespoon of sugar free raspberry preserves. So delicious!

    Immediately after working out I am not hungry but if I wait like an hour I'm usually pretty hungry. Your body just used up a bunch of energy and wants it back!
