Hey, if you're looking for a low calorie high protein snack or dinner try cottage cheese salads!! Or cottage cheese in general. Always satisfies my cravings. :) Other than that - try stuff out and see what works best for you. xo Good luck and have fun on your journey!

Hi. Have you entered all your statistics into mfp? when you registered it will of asked for your age, sex, weight, height etc. also your daily activity level not including exercise. Once you have entered all that information mfp will tell you how many calories per day you should eat in order to loose the desired amount each week (as a general rule if you have more than 24lb to loose set it to 2lb a week. 24-14lbs set it to 1lb a week. Less than 14, aim for half a pound a week). Now you just need to eat to hit (but not exceed ) your calorie goal. The maths is all worked out for you. When you exercise you can enter the activity into your food diary. This is a great way to "earn" more calories for the day. Most people recommend you edit the number mfp gives you by half as it's a little inaccurate. I have a heart rate monitor.

I recommend you buy a digital food scale and use the mobile mfp app to log everything you eat every day. The database is very good and you can scan barcodes with a smartphone. If you can make doing that a part of your life, it becomes second nature very quickly.

This isn't an easier fix but but is one if the simplest I have tried and, for me, it is working wonders for me, physically and mentally. Read the forums and get into the minset as much as possible. Also, read to stickies at the top of the forum pages. Good luck!
