Feels uncomfortable asking for friends but I need to lose weight and run stronger so here goes .....

A few years ago I learnt to run - as I discovered a love of running without giving it too much thought I changed my eating habits. I ate to fuel my body for every run with a mindset that this would help me to run faster and stronger. It worked and I did and the weight just fell away.
I then became complacent thinking that I could still run fast and strong no matter how I fuelled my body.
I was wrong....... Over the past two years I have steadily become slower and weaker on my runs and have gained over 2 stone in weight!
It makes me so unhappy ..... I am still running (just did the London marathon & have a place in the great north run in Sept) but I want to be slim, fit and healthy when I run.
Am using this community hoping that with support and inspiration I can get there ☺️

    You definitely have dedication, since you run marathons.

    All you need to do is put that dedication and hard work into watching your calories and you will loose the weight.
