What's a good shoe for walking?

Just want to know your experience with walking shoes. What's the best walking shoe you've had?

hi I use a Hagloffs shoe which is waterproof and uses an Asics sole they fit up small my normal size is a 10 but had to go for an 11.5 but really supportive and comfy if you are going to be doing reasonable distances over uneven ground you might be better with a boot I walk approx. 4 miles a day sometimes more with my dog Mollie

The best shoe is the one that has been sized and measured for your foot specifically, not everyone is the same.

For me though, my favorites have been my Vibram's. Best shoes I ever bought and I will continue to buy them again and again.
