How to meet protein requirements? It seems the general set macro is tough for me to get my protein. I've been eating a lot of chicken and eggs. What's other sources of protein without adding carbs? I have no problem reaching my carbs, but am finding it rough to reach my protein.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

what is your protein goal in grams?
In the summer since I forgo a hot breakfast usually I add protein powder to a smoothie...
lots of greek yogurt and cheese.
Lots of seafood esp shrimp and crab and lobster. Tuna, salmon etc.
A good burger goes a long way, pork loin chops, steak...
Carbs unless you are going low carb..as with all macros are mins it doesn't matter if you go over them.0 -
Low fat cottage cheese, 80 calories & 14 grams of protein in half a cup.0

what is your protein goal in grams?
It's set at 30% right now. This is my first time tracking macros and it seems a diet heavy in veggies and meat will make your macros balanced?
Thanks for the suggestions I have a bug tub of Greek yogurt I can eat this week. So the tabs don't matter as long as they're veggie carbs?0 -
Try beef Jerky. No really. A 1 oz serving contains 80 calories, 1 g of fat, 5g Carb and a whopping 14g of protein. Itm easy to carry, does not need refrigeration. you can even eat it while working out (kind of).0

My macros are currently set at 45/25/30 and if you look at my diary I am often over on protein/fats and slightly under on carbs.
Macros setup is quite personal typically. Depending on goals etc.
AS I mentioned unless you are going low carb consider them the mins and if you go over it's not a big deal at all, as far as weight loss goes....just don't go over calories for weight loss.
As for personalizing them use the following formulas for grams
0.8 grams of protein for every lb of body weight
0.35 grams of fat for every lb
and
carbs are the rest.0
