taking a nap/lying down after workout?

I workout in the mornings which works great for me. After I come home I take a shower, eat my lunch, dry my hair and then usually go lie down. Is taking a nap a hour or so after exercising going to undermine my workouts somehow?
Just wondering.

When I worked out at the studio, the workouts were pretty intense (that and I did morning classes) so I always passed out when I came home.0

Sounds lovely to me
Don't see how it can undermine anything0 -
When I did morning workouts,I used to nap afterwards. But I'm on night workouts now so just have to wait until bed time0

That sounds wonderful. I have my 5-year-old do yoga after lunch on the weekends because she always takes a nice nap right afterwards. I would do that too, if I could.0

I wish I could sleep after a good workout.... I'm so keyed up I usually can't.0

I usually have to work out late at night so I sleep right after. So nah, your good.

That sounds like the perfect day.
I have read that fat leaves the body when exhaled during sleep, but now I can't find the source (although I did find this). If that is true, hey, you're ahead of the rest of us who don't/can't nap.0 -
Great, thank you everyone!0
