Im new here

Hi all -
I heard a lot of good things of MFP and decided to download it. i have lost 20 lbs and am hoping to lose a few more... I know that logging my meals and snacks will keep me accountable for my food choices - I just decided over the last week or two that I am going to make better eating choices - in hopes of feeling better from the inside out.

I love to work out - I am fortunate - but I just cant get down to the weight I want to... I feel flabby and want to get rid of it.
I have come to terms with the fact that I have had three children and have a 40 year old metabolism.. but I have tremendous self image and body issues some days are very bad for me.... I am hoping a new attitude and changes will help - also finding people who struggle like I do and can offer support on the bad days.

    You're in the right place, this site as done for me what no other diet, pill, fad or even hours if cardio could. The community is great (if you're careful of forum bullies) and I have made great supportive friends. Age is mean, but you don't have to surrender :) Add me!
