Run? Yeah..only if I'm being chased.

Hello ALL of all sizes, I'm glad to see so many with similar goals, it's very important for you to have support, so please, feel free to add me and I'll be there!
My name is Serena, I'm 31yrs old, living in Texas. I've been over weight probably all my life, but I'm officially at my heaviest and finally, after many tries and excuses, am ready to be as beautiful on the outside as I am in.
I've been going to the gym now probably for a couple of years. But I would always fall off the wagon after a good 3-4 months run of doing really well. My excuse for quitting... no time, in pain from muscle soreness or just having to have that food I denied myself.
Recently I've started back up again, with my husband. We've always worked out together but our goals so different. As a personal trainer he always remained fit but he was not a trainer for me because I would not listen to him when he wanted to push me. I would get mad and eat out of spite, meanwhile he's getting big for body building. It wasn't exactly motivating , in fact rather depressing to have a hot physique husband and here I was obese and looking frumpy. I guess I should consider myself lucky to have a man except me for me.. but I knew that I couldn't do it for him, but for me when I was ready. Well I'm ready now, and I've been going 6 days a week. We mostly strength train, lots of lifting, circuit and HIIT. I LOVE to lift weights and see my progression. But I HATE cardio. 20 minutes on an elliptical no problem, but don't ask me to run.
I've found myself a gym buddy, she has similar goals as I do and her as a partner has helped very much. It's been 3 weeks in and my routine has finally become a habit.
I JUST started meal prepping this week and I find it very hard to cook so many different meals so it doesn't get repetitive. I'm going to have to find another way.. it's expensive too.
I try to stick to 1,500 calories a day and this app has been extremely helpful in keeping track. I routinely use protein shakes, casein shakes and pre workout supplements, and vitamins.
3 weeks in and I've noticed a big change, a 6lb weight loss (would be more if I made better meal choices in the beginning). I'm excited for this and this time I have goals set and rewards to myself that's going to help and motivate me along the way. 94 more pounds to go before my ultimate goal .. reward.. a vow renewal on the beach in the Cayman Islands. I CAN'T WAIT !!

Thank you very much!! I've often struggled, but this time owning it truly for me makes it feel different. I know how it is to struggle and only hope to help myself helping others and be supportive too!0
