Micronutrients

Hi! I just started today and I am really liking it so far. I would like to know however, what does it mean when the grams/numbers are negative, for example -5grams? Also, how do I find alternatives of foods I can eat if I already consumed my daily allowance of something? For example, if I already topped my fat and sugar allowance?

It means you've eaten more than your target. Depending on the nutrient and your goals, that could be good, bad, or indifferent.
I personally look mostly at what I'm low on, and secondarily what I'm over on. I try not to be too low on protein or fiber, but being low on carbs or high on fat doesn't bother me. Meat (including poultry and fish) / eggs / dairy are high in protein, and may be either high or low in fat. Pretty much everything else is a good source of carbs.0 -
