PMS stomach upset diet

every month right before my period I get terrible stomach cramps and just a nauseous feeling, which I usually alleviate by eating a ton of carbs (cake, crackers, bread). Even though i'm not actually CRAVING those foods, they temporarily make my stomach feel a little better. Does anyone have any suggestions for foods that are easy and good for the stomach, that might help? Thanks!

    Have you tried things like mint tea or ginger?
