I seriously think that I am mind ****ing myself into not getting over the 160 mark. Just like I did at 170 and 180 and 190. Anybody else do this?!?

I have the opposite problem. I tend to overdo it and not eat enough because I do not want to see the digit in the tens' place ever again.

Huh. Well... it gets you where you're going. I wonder what my problem is? :frown:

I never had that problem with my weight loss. Are you doing anything different during that time?

That you aren't giving yourself enough credit for all the progress you have made? Don't beat yourself up over this.

Yes, I do this and in fact have gained back almost 10 lbs in the past month. idiot I am. I know why I do it, it's fear based, but I am not standing for it anymore. My big girl panties are today, yesterday was much better than the past 6 weeks, uh, I mean 4 months, and today will be better than that. I will be 41 at the end of October, I would love to be 23.6 lbs lighter by then. It's game time!

It can be very scary, for lack of a better word, to cross into new weight zones, if being thin isn't your normal then it feels to get thinner. Take your time, slow is better than no movement at all. I take a lot of breaks. Apparently this break resulted in a gain, but it's still less than I started at. Every day is a new beginning and you just keep moving forward, one step at a time.

I'm glad I'm not alone! I'm a natural over-thinker, and I can see what's going on in and around me, but fail to see how to stop (or start) it. I WISH WISH WISH I could be the one who does it without thinking about it

I think stress plays a big part. I took me FOREVER to break 150 and I obsessed over it. But since then I haven't been back! Now I'm at 144 and can't wait to break 140! But I do seem to teeter around the edge for a while too. I am an over thinker too. Its very hindering at times!! Most times lol.
