Grandma getting fit after 50

Hi fitness folks! So, I am a 54 year old mom of 5 with 7 grandkids and one on the way. A little over a year ago, I decided that I needed to get healthier so I can be around for them as long as possible. Having gained 100 pounds since high school, it wasn't going to happen overnight. I started using My Fitness Pal right from the start. As of now, I have lost 54 pounds and have now been working out for about 3 months- everyday with only about 6 days missed here and there.

    Sounds like you're doing a great job out of it. I have only used this app for four days, but it quickly turned into a habit to scan the barcodes of whatever I eat. Keep up the good work! :smile:
