Hi! I'm looking to lose 125 over all. I've already lost 25. It helps to find people in the same boat. Especially when the task seems so daunting!0

I'd love to lose over 100 lbs but since I'm older it seems to take longer. What plan are you following?0

Patience and commitment.0

Hey guys, First off Thank You! Thank you for just being here. Pammther64, My plan is to exercise, eating pretty much low carb, and to count calories. Even though my name is grannymeemers, I am 39 and yes, a grandma to a almost 2yr old. My youngest is graduating next May and we are taking him to Disney World. I would love to fit on the rides. I am the biggest I have ever been tipping the scales at 370.4. I was on here before lost 60 pounds and then my gallbladder and gained chin splints in my legs. I let those things be my excuse to give up and gained 60 pounds back plus another 15. Hoping that it finally sticks this time.0

HI! I've got about 120 more pounds to go. I've lost just over 20 so far. It's always helpful to have motivation from others who are going through what you are going through!0
-
Hi, I'd love for you to get on the rides too! When I reached that point, that's when I woke up and realized what I'd miss with my kids. I need to lose 100 lbs to be in a healthy place. Good luck to all of you0

Hello everyone. I'm working on losing 115 more lbs. my heaviest was 437 and I'm currently at 362. I was down to 346 but allowed life to get me off track.
I am sticking to 1200 calories a day and also using a WW type point system right now just for extra accountability.
My job keeps me fairly active at this point but I will begin an exercise program soon.
I don't believe in luck, I believe in hard work and determination.

Good luck everyone, consistency and determination, I have a goal of 100lbs currently I'm down 32lbs, feel free to add me anyone.0

Hello, I actually just joined today and have exactly 100 to lose. I've been up close to 300 in my teen years and got down to right at 200 when I met my husband 4 years ago.I let my weight get out of control again after I had our daughter in September of 2013 while dealing with post partum depression. I'm currently at 240 and want to get down to a healthy weight of about 140. I'd love to have anyone to talk to who's been or is going down this same path so feel free to add me!0

Hi! I have 157 lbs to lose all together....down 24 in 6 weeks! I started at 352 (my all time heaviest ) and am now at 328. We can all do this!!0

Hi, I'm trying to lose a total of 110 pounds! I'm right there with you (my ticker is set at a smaller goal, 80 pounds, as a start) - right now I am only down 5. I lost 20. Gained it back. Lost 30. Gained it back. Lost 20 again. Gained it back. And now, once I made it about my life and not just my looks, I'm struggling. Haha. My metabolism got sick of me, but I plan to keep fighting like hell.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to add me! I'm always looking to gain and give more support.0 -
100-125 for me, too. Feel free to add me. I just took a couple weeks off, and am ready to start up again. I do fine on the exercise (zumba a couple times a week, lots of walking and starting back to water aerobics), but need to do better on the diet side.0

Hi,
My original goal was to lose about 110. I'm down 100+. What you guys are trying to do is doable. It will require lots of hard work and dedication. But it's totally doable. I've been overweight my whole life. In October 2013, when I hit 310, I decided I have to get serious about losing weight. I started off with small changes. I went for a long walk that first day and haven't looked back. Having been overweight all my life, I never had any interest in sports at all. I now run daily and ride my bike several times a week. I've run half marathons and biked centuries. You can all be in the same situation in the next couple of years.
Some tips:
Don't make too many changes at once
Don't do anything drastic or you'll burn out
As much as you'll hear that food is the most important part of losing weight (and it is), exercise is very important
All of you should change your goals before you even start. Focus on that first 35-45 pounds. When you get there, you'll feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment. It will give you the willpower to tackle the next 30 pounds. Continue from there until you reach the long term goal.
Feel free to friend me and/or send me direct messages if you have any questions. I'm not a nutritionist but I can give you some tips based on my experience.

Hello,
I need to lose 171 more pounds to be at my goal weight. I started my life change on 5/4/15 and 333.2 lbs, on Tuesday I weighed myself and I am down to 316.2. I cut out all the soda and drink only water and lots of it. I am following a 1300-1500 calorie diet. I just joined a gym today! The more buddies the better. Feel free to add me people!0 -
You are all so motivational and inspirational..0
