Post lifting - usually eggs and spinach
Post run - peanut butter
Post long run - what ever I am craving - usually ends up being chocolate pop-tarts or reese's cups.0 -
After a long ride when I've been eating huge amounts of carbs I love to cook a 3 egg omelette with chorizo, onion and strong cheese.
Quick, very tasty, plenty of protein and a nice "real food" contrast compared to the snacks and carbs drinks needed to fuel a long cycle.0 -

Honestly? This may not be the best but a bowl of honey nut cheerios with cut up strawberries..I go mountain biking as a form of excersise and its pretty intense and a bit of sugar and carb keeps me from getting sick after0
