Definitely not new, but a new mindset.

This is probably my, eh, fifth or sixth account? I keep getting discouraged, or distracted, or my old ED mentality sparks up again and I delete. But I'm getting tired, and even though I have dropped about thirty pounds, I'm still about sixty pounds overweight for my age and height. I'm looking for some friends who are actively on here, and are in a similar situation or have been. I'm gonna be the big 2-0 in a couple months and i'm hoping to lose some major inches by then! I eat as organic and natural as i possibly can for my $200 a month grocery budget, but i'm working on diminishing a big container of protein shake mix that definitely is not anywhere near organic since I really don't wanna waste it and I REALLY don't wanna give it to my room mate. I have a pretty sensitive dairy allergy but eat cheese like it's my job, (I really cannot see myself ever giving it up, and non-dairy cheese so far has just tasted nasty.) but I do take medication that, uh, kinda helps with the after-effects. I just bought my second fitbit, (my original one is somewhere in a basement about 300 miles from me, probably suffering from some major flood damage.) and have been doing a lot of running and weight-lifting- if you call lifting ten pound weights a few times weight-lifting. I'll be living alone in a couple months, but I garden in my community garden plot quite often, and am part of a walking group that walks around my town for a couple hours every tuesday. I work nearly full time in the ER at my local hospital on overnights as a receptionist, and because of that I don't get a whole lot of sleep, ever. I love music of all kinds- right now I've been listening to a lot of Modest Mouse, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Arctic Monkeys, and a bunch of other stuff. Anyway, TL;DR- I am looking for friends. Add me or message me!

You can find friends in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users
Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit
Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings
Set your goal no higher than .5 lb. per week for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided
Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your Fitbit adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like lifting) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.0
