Hey everyone :)
I'm currently on my fitness journey to become the healthiest I've ever been. After having 2 kids, I was 198lbs at my heaviest. I'm now 169lbs and aiming for 120-125 (I'm only 5'1) so far I've felt really confident in my weight loss but lately I feel like I'm really starting to get that extra lose skin all in my belly from losing the weight. What is the best way to tighten up your belly? I have a gym membership, so I have access to most everything. My husband is currently deployed and my goal is to be down to 150 by July 20th when I go visit him :) I really want to get my belly as toned as possible before then too! Help!

Just keep losing the fat in the belly will eventually come off as well. If it is truly just loose skin there probably isn't much you can do short of surgery, it can tighten up some over time, but genetics will determine that. You can try wearing a belly binder like women do after having a baby or after having liposuction. I did have luck with a binder after having kids, still flat after four, but really there's no way to tell if I got it from my Mama or if it was the binder I wore!!

A lot of "loose skin" is actually "loose fat". I'd say keep dropping fat, and work on doing some weights (I don't know much about it, so I can't really advise you on particulars). Adding muscle also helps give your skin/fat something to reattach to. Sometimes it gets better over time as your body redistributes fat to where you need it, if you are working out. Sometimes, depending on how low your body fat gets, it sticks around. I've maintained at a higher healthy weight and still have some of it, though I've been told it isn't as noticeable as I think it is. So you may find it doesn't end up bothering you as much as you think it will. Best of luck.
