You look different after losing 30 pounds (face pics)

Ya know, I try to be open an honest about myself. I like to think I am not vain and I accept myself for who I am and how I am. So it is ironic I feel uneasy about posting before pics of myself much. I think I just have this negative association with how I used to look and I unrealistically feel embarrassed.
But more important that my pride and silly ego, I think posting though is important for motivating and being a light for others - that they might see what can be accomplished with small changes over time.
Anywho...I was thumbing through pics and came across this pic from circa 2010 when I was pushing over 225 pounds. I think back and I am amazed at just how unaware I was of my weight. I then grabbed a pic from this last Christmas of me now at around 195. Here is the change.
Overall, I actually had lost my weight over 8 months that year, but have been happily holding and maintaining (for the most part) since. I still have an ultimate goal to drop another 20 pounds for body image and sport performance, but I can't say I a feel bad today. More pridefully, I am happier with how I look.
So just a note to those looking for change. If you make those right choices, make them as often as possible, don't consider yourself failing when you vary a bit sometimes, and you do all that consistently over time, you will make the changes you want. It is not a race to a result, but a change over time to get results.
BE AMAZING!

Yes, before and after pics always are a wake up! I refuse to post mine (I'm a wimp that way). You look GREAT! Both pics - yes, I see a difference, but you still look like the same person, overall. Best of all, you look really healthy. Glad you posted!0

So awesome! I am down about 20 lbs, but I'm having a hard time seeing a difference. Of course, I feel a difference - my jeans are looser, and when I do crunches I don't have as many rolls of belly fat (tmi?) - but seeing a difference is hard. It's even harder when I can't find any pictures of myself. It seems that I've been hiding from the camera the past few years... :-). Congratulations on your success!0
