anyone loose a lot of weight doing intermittent fasting..thoughts,tips reviews

    Lost around 40lbs doing alternate day IF, as laid out in the book, The Alternate Day Diet, by Dr. James Johnson. There's also a group here on mfp, called JUDDD, that has the info (JUDDD is a nickname for the plan).

    It's a plan of eating at a deficit using different timing. Since nearly all the studies show meal timing doesn't matter, the only advantage is that it may be something you find easier to follow faithfully. I do 16:8 IF some days.

  • I've lost 30lbs in the last 3 months with IF. I do 20/4 fasting with my eating window between 5 and 9. the first few days were
    rough but after about day 3 it gets easy.I feel like this is a diet I can stick with.

    How do you work that? Graze through the 4 hours or 2 meals at 50% each or ???
