This is the one thing I can't get rid of. I've been dieting and excersizing for about a month and I've lost 10 lbs. about once a week, for breakfast I will have a sparkmans chocolate milk. There are 2 servings in one bottle, I think it's like 420 calls in the whole thing :s I know I should only drink the serving, instead of the whole thing but omg it's my one weakness.

Could this be slowing down my weight loss? Is there any way to make a better option chocolate milk?

If you are fitting it in your calorie goal, it will not affect your weight loss.

If you aren't going over your calories, it isn't effecting your weight loss. I drink chocolate milk a lot cause it's yummy.

If you've lost 10lbs in a month, then you're doing great! The milk obviously isn't stopping your weight loss, so I'd definitely keep drinking it.

If you really want something lower in calories, you could just make your own chocolate milk with like 300ml of 1% milk (140 calories) and 1.5 tbsp of chocolate Nesquick syrup (75 calories), so you'd get something similar for 215 calories. I do this for my boyfriend. That way you can tailor it to taste too.

People say it's good after a workout. Plus,I drink it about a couple times a month,to pump up my calcium.

Very high in sugar. Half of that sugar lactose the rest being sucrose likely . I'd suggest you're better without it. You could probably reduce it to having it after exercise and in a controlled amount or alternatively get skimmed or lactofree milk and have that with some added chocolate powder

if you drink 2 servings then you log to servings. Then you go on with your day. Don't deny yourself what you enjoy. Somedays you will choose to have only one serving or none at all. Just log it accurately.

I drink chocolate milk almost everyday. I usually drink 2 cups of it if I don't have time for breakfast because it makes me feel full, or I'll drink it right after a workout because apparently that's the best time to drink it! it's also like an addiction for me, I wish it didn't have so much sugar. I think if I cut it out I would lose weight faster but that's not necessarily my goal right now so I won't. But like others said, as long as it fits in your cals for the day/week u should be fine

Chocolate milk is just as bad as water is.

    What? Water isn't bad?
    Chocolate milk isn't bad either.

    :yum:

Not bad at all. It has protein and calcium and tastes amazing.

I agree with everyone above saying that if what you love fits into your daily plan then you should just enjoy it. That being said, this might make it a little easier....

I drink Fairlife Chocolate Milk. It's filtered (not unlike Greek yogurt) to improve the protein to sugar ratio. I think it takes fantastic and so do my kids.

Chocolate milk is one of my recovery window "go tos". Don't buy the "pre-made"
stuff. Skim milk and the Nesquik no sugar "added" powder = ~180 cals for two cups instead of ~360 - 420
