I eat at least four chocolate chip cookies everyday... Anyone know of a good low calorie option or recipe?

My suggestion: fit them into your day, and fit in an extra workout to offset it if necessary! I've seen substitutes for them...nothing beats the real thing. :)

If 4 fit your calories and macros great, if not, just eat 2

Quick cookies in about 10 mins - Dangerous right? Nope, these are so low cal it's not an issue

    Nutritional Info

Per cookie (based on 16 cookies)
Calories: 6 (about 8 or 9 with chocolate chips)
    Fat: <0.5 grams

    Ingredients

2 Tablespoon coconut flour (you can use normal flour, but it is ever so slightly more calorific (under 2 cals for the batch)
2 Tablespoon mashed banana or low sugar apple sauce
A good pinch of rock salt
stevia or other sweetener, to taste (Dont go crazy here, apple/banana are already sweet)
    1/8 teaspoon baking powder
3 Tablespoon skimmed, almond or low cal milk of choice
low cal or dark chocolate chips (if required)

    Directions

Preheat oven to 180°C (or 350F for those stateside)
In a small bowl, mix coconut flour, baking powder, and salt
Add in banana or apple sauce and stir
Add in milk, one tablespoon at a time
    Stir in chocolate chips
Drop dough by tablespoon or teaspoon (depending on how big you want them) on a parchment lined baking sheet.
    Flatten into cookie shapes.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden.

The best bit about this recipe, is even if you eat all 16 mini cookies (or 8 bigger ones) you have still only eaten approx 130 kcal... which is usually about 1 normal store bought cookie

    Enjoy!

PS. If you make these, then eat them on a slow 20 minute walk round the block.. you are probably netting zero calories for your treat too!
