Maintain weight while losing inches?

Hey guys. I'm a pound off from reaching my weight goal of 120 lbs.
I'm 63" and I honestly don't mind staying within 120-125lbs however, is there any way to lose inches without dropping below my weight?
I'm fairly active, eat healthy most days but don't really know how to accomplish a slimmer waist without dipping below 120lbs. I'm already fairly slim but I'd ideally like a flatter mid area. Just say 3 inches in difference. I lose weight evenly. The photo is from 3 months ago, to give an idea of my current figure within the 120-125lb range.
I've also had 3 children- is that something I just need to accept as a factor in part of my new figure?
All advice is appreciated. TIA!

Do you resistance train?
The only way to lose inches and stay the same weight (outside water weight fluctuations) is to gain muscle while losing fat. The only way to gain muscle is to provide additional stimulus to your muscles.0 -
I'm not sure what resistance training is. I run, xbike, dance and I'll do some sit-ups here and there.0

Resistance training is basically where you tax your muscles with resistance - is can include weight lifting, body weight exercises, resistance band and kettlebells - that type of thing.
What you are currently doing is not going to allow you gain muscle and lose fat.0 -
Thanks! I'll try incorporating it into my week0

I am lazy. But I walk every day and sit on a Pilates ball at work. I lost 3" on my waist. I am much older than you.0

I've been maintaining my weight for the last 5 months but have lost 13 inches (bust, chest, waist, waist @ belly button, hips, butt and legs) over that time. I have reduced my cardio and increased my lifting weights doing the Strong Lifts program 3 x week and am eating more calories. Highly recommend incorporating heavy lifting.0
