I'm lucky to work a few miles away from an AMAZING farmers market. If you live in or very near Atlanta then you should take a peak inside the Dekalb Farmers Market one day! I've heard many times that if you shop on the outside edges of a grocery store then you'll be eating things that are much more healthy. The farmers market is like an entire grocery store of the outside edges! Also, I get one of those baskets and I fill it till it's full and I'll know it'll only be $20 - $30 for a weeks worth of veggies and fruit. I also have found that the ground turkey and ground bison (both much better for you than beef) are much cheaper then my local Publix. **Not to mention I can get my favorite beer (Woodchuck) on the cheap.** I wanted to know if all of you are going to your local farmers markets and falling in love too? Like I said..if your in Atlanta then you should check out the Dekalb Farmers Market..maybe I'll see you there! :drinker:

You are so lucky! I love farmer's markets. Unfortunately, there isn't one near me though. Enjoy!!!!

I agree! I love the Dekalb farmer's market. I live in Athens and we have a pretty good one too. However, whenever I go to Atlanta, I either stop at Gwinnett or Dekalb to pick up some strawberries or peaches for the road!
