Shoes for side to side movement like Zumba?

I've been wearing my running shoes for Zumba (home workout). Crazy movement in the shoe from side to side. It's starting to hurt, and know the shoes I am wearing are for front to back movement like walking/running. I also have metatarsalgia so I have to have support in the middle fatty pad near toes...so the lack of support in side to side is really causing issues.
What types of shoes do you wear for side to side movement? I'm new to all things like this so perhaps it's simple answer. Also, my running shoes feel too heavy-perhaps I should try something lighter or is this just because I'm too out of shape?
