Salt and salt and more salt

Whenever I decide to lose weight and I start to eat healthyly and exercise, I realise that I add more salt than usual to my food. I have no idea why but for some reason even though everything is cooked exactly the same I end up adding more salt on my own plate. Anybody else the same, or, anybody have any sugeestions please???
