Did i ever tall y'all I bought a Hyundai excel in late 1983 for 8200.00 and It last 12 years and I put over 300 K miles on it when I finally retired it and even the day I retired it it still ran but my family outgrew it and none of my kids was driving soon so I sold it for 500.00 ? Also It was only in the shop 2x once for a timing belt and once for the clutch isnt that incredible?

Is that surprising for a Hyundai? Don't they have bad reputation?

Could i say my Hyundai was the exception to the rule? also possibly being the fact that was the first year they came out and had a Mitsubishi engine possibly may have led to my reason for success story? Oh and It was hit 2x on separate occasions and I got a few thousand payout from the other persons insurances. Can you believe I was able to repair all the issues to the body myself with all the parts from junk yards?

can it just be something I do through the necessity of the feeling I will never pay a high rate for something I can try and do myself? Would you believe I employ the same approach when it comes to my home? I am self taught for electrical, plumbing (Both copper and CPVC), sheet rock, and even light construction? would you believe my Father was not one bit mechanically inclined at all? Isnt that odd?
