Might I hate facials? Perhaps I can tolerate a pedi and maybe Mani but isn't it more fun doing something active?

Would you believe i just find it a bit invasive? Might you have been sensitive to the products used?

It was more all the poking and prodding she was doing, squeezing my pores and such. Is that normal?

Yes, it was the standard when I lived in HK. They have something like handicap bars along the ceiling so the masseuse has something to hold on for balance. With your heel, you can really apply some pressure. Nothing shady about these pamper palaces.
