  • Well, what if you are in the loop and know what everybody is talking about?

Wouldn't that then cure my curiosity?

Didn't curiosity kill the cat? Isn't that dangerous?

Is someone trying to kill me off? Can’t we just tell Fab that we are talking about favourite foods instead?

Maybe we need to enroll you in witness protection?

Maybe you saw too much bacon eating happening?

Maybe the pig mafia has put a hit on you?

What are we going to do, @Cat0703a?? How can I help?

Why, oh why, did you mention bacon again? Did you know I’d finally gotten the thought of it outta my head?? 😩😂

Is it possible to live happily without bacon? How DO vegans do it?

Could it be one of my weaknesses and one I’ve chosen to limit?

How's that working for you? Should I apologize for the triggers?

Maybe we should talk about cats, instead?

Isn’t it like exposure therapy? Not so much a trigger but making me stronger?

How many cats do you have?

Hoping you meant the four legged felines and not me personally? 😂

Haha, do you want to join my family? How do you feel about joining a home with two other cats?

Limiting our consumption of foods we love is why many of us are here, isn't it?
But isn't there close to zero calories in only talking about foods we love?

Isn't the risk that talking about it will lead to craving, and then craving will lead to caving?

I've heard it said that "having is not so great a thing as wanting", but should I believe that?

Should I make decisions based what someone else says, or on personal experience?

Speaking of pithy sayings, isn't experience the best teacher?

Isn't it by making mistakes how we learn?

Yes... wasn't it the comedian Steven Wright who said, “Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it”? :D

Decades ago, I used to make cakes from scratch: pound cakes, chocolate cakes, carrot cakes, banana nut bread, almond torte with ganache and raspberry filling, folded in the egg whites, made chocolate chip cookies the right way (cream the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla), etc... but is it even possible for an old geezer to remember all that stuff?

Wouldn't it make it easier to remember if you put all your old recipes in one place.?
Isn't "old" subjective? Wouldn't you be a young pup to someone who is 100?

That's funny, do you think I'm that organized? I do feel younger than I used to be though, is that possible?

How young do you feel now?

Or is that rude to ask?

Would you like my ooooolllllldddd recipe for oatmeal cookies that makes a jillion cookies?
If you made it, would you make rolls of cookie dough and put them in the freezer like I do?
Would you slice off a couple of cookies and bake them every time you turn the oven on?

I feel older than I am but younger than I was (i.e. felt), and still older than I'll be a year from now, if that's even possible?

I love good oatmeal cookies whether dropped, globbed or splatted and patted, but are they better rolled? Is that why they call them "rolled oats"?

Didn’t this thread move fast today?

Would you and the kitties be willing to move to the warmer side of the country?
