    Didn't I try uploading a photo from my phone, and failed?
    Aren't I now intrigued, and wanting to play around?
    For instance, here is a file I uploaded on my computer using the  attach file  icon (as opposed to the  attach image  icon), and what will I see when I post?

    Didn't that not work, and didn't I get the message "You are not allowed to upload files in this category"?

    Now, aren't I instead using the attach  image icon?

    Yes, am I only able to upload an image from my computer using  attach image..choose files?
    Am I to understand that if using  attach image..Image URL, the URL must be within MFP, vs some external site?
    Do I need to take a course in   MFP File Linking, Attaching and Uploading, From Your Phone or Computer?

    Didn't I just go to creative commons (creativecommons.org) website, search for "ice cream", and select that chocolate sundae? But didn't I have to manually extract the URL from the  src  tag of the HTML?

    Isn't that what I mean? Didn't I try to attach an MP4 and got the dreaded "you can't attach this file" message?
    EDIT... isn't it.... "file format not allowed"?
