Isn’t that a smart idea for the wet coast?0

Would anyone here like to pack for me? Aren't I working 7-7 today and tomorrow and leaving first thing in the morning on Monday? Who schedules these things? 🙋♀️🤦♀️ Won't I probably be packing in the wee hours late Sunday/ very early Monday?0
-
May I suggest you take 10 minutes each day and pack little by little?
Isn't this just an idea I had, and not something I'm terribly good at, because I tend to procrastinate just a wee bit?0 -
You procrastinate, Frank? 🤭🤣0
-
You can pack for 9 days in 20 minutes?!0

Couldn't I, if I was like Jack Reacher, pack in a minute or so? 😂
But surely* aren't I serious when I say, rather than packing all at once, might there be a benefit to packing in several phases, giving you more time to remember the things you might otherwise forget? 🤔
* 1) "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman?", and
* 2) Airplane's "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."0 -
I wasn't clear about how much time I had left to pack, was I? Aren't I working until at least 7:30 tonight which means I won't get home until 8:30? Don't I have to be back in at 7 tomorrow morning? Doesn't that mean, up at 5, leave at 6? Won't my several phases have to be strung together in order to get it all done? 😄0

But what's a few minutes here and there?
Didn't I get this idea after reading about a method of exercise called "Greasing the Groove", in which, in contrast to working your muscles to exhaustion all at once, like the traditional 3 sets of ~12 reps, you instead take many moments throughout the day to work your muscles just a little?
Aren't I thinking I might try some of that starting today (he says, as he heads to the gym for a 60 minute workout 😂)?

Does walking to the fridge to get another drink a few times count as excercising throughout the day?0
-
@cat0703a, don't I agree with @frankwbrown that your new pic is lovely, and so very clearly still you?
Doesn't a bowl of ice cream taste even better when you log everything for the day, and between food and exercise you are still hundreds of calories below quota?
Aren't I a proud papa after my DS17 came home today from attending the JROTC Nationals, with his school coming in third place overall and the two teams my son commands came in second and first place?1 -
Isn’t that worth celebrating with ice cream? 🥳🥳🥳
@frankwbrown, did you see we have another reason to indulge in a sweet dessert tonight?0 -
Don't sweet treats (like carrot cake) make a delicious breakfast, too? Are muffins any healthier than cakes?0

Are the muffins covered in frosting?0 -

@nossmf, aren't you so very proud, and rightfully so? Aren't I reminded of my older brother's reaction when one of whose grandsons, having followed his footsteps into the Marines, became a member of some elite unit (the name of which I must profess my ignorance)? Will you remember that requires a pizza chaser after the ice cream? (Does that count as my 'congratulations'?) 🥳
(Not that you would or do over indulge, right?)

@frankwbrown, do you not read every post in the Wrong Answers thread? Is not @cmsienk referencing an answer there, when asked the question how to celebrate a successful appearance at nationals? And why hasn't anybody posted something in that thread for a while? Do I need to answer myself? (Is that even allowed?)

Would it surprise you to learn that I do read every post in the Wrong Answers thread? Well, almost? And wasn't I surprised when I signed on and saw that my previous response was not posted? Did I really spend time composing a funny, elegant, thoughtful reply (he says, ever so modestly) and not hit Post Reply?
Would it suffice to say the thought of pizza after ice cream was too much for my psyche to bear without comment?0 -
Haven't you ever had too much of something sweet and wanted something a little savory to counteract it? Wouldn't pizza after ice cream qualify for that even if you weren't celebrating a national championship?0
-
Isn’t that why I enjoy Chicago mix or west coast wave (white cheddar mixed with caramel) popcorn ? 🤤0

You mean like, having several Cadbury Chocolate Creme Eggs and Ferrero Crispy Eggs, and then wanting something like sour cream and onion potato chips or peanut butter pretzel nuggets?
0 -
Am I correct to assume those peanut butter pretzel nuggets are soft, not crunchy? Isn't it ironic how I hated pretzels growing up, only ever being exposed to the crunchy version, but since my wife introduced me to soft pretzels with salt and butter, or cinnamon sugar, I can't get enough?0
-
While my preference is normally for crunchy foods, aren’t pretzels the exception for me too?0
-
Are cookies an exception for you also? While I scarf Oreo's on a regular basis, given the choice wouldn't I prefer soft chocolate chip, peanut butter or iced sugar cookies? Since all three of those take time to do right, I wonder...is it the soft factor I appreciate more, or the time it took to make them?0
-
Or perhaps the amount of butter in those three choices? 🤣0
-
Although I just bought 2 bags of chocolate oreos and hazelnut oreos on sale, don't I agree that butter is an important ingredient in good cookies?
btw, isn't the peanut butter the only soft thing about my peanut butter pretzel nuggets, and don't I like them that way? (aren't they great for sneaking into the movie theater?)0 -
Is anyone else glad to be done working for the day?0
-
Why didn't anyone tell me we could be done working for the day? 😮💨0
-
Would you like me to tell you?0
-
Do you offer that service on a weekly basis?0
-
Do you know how happy I'd be if you would?0
