Have you been to humid Florida?
ETA: While the temps are in the 70s F (the 20s C ) here... isn't it about 60 degrees in this ballroom?0 -
What if I substitute "rain" for "snow 15+ inches (33+ cm) in the last two storms"?1
-
May I thank you for including metric? Is there an animal related expression for snowing, I wonder? 🤔1

Wouldn’t I enjoy a nice blizzard?0

Should I feel lucky it was slightly below 70° here?0

Would you believe tomorrow's forecast here is for a high of 289°K? 😂0

Is anyone else sitting on a curb outside their hotel after the 2:22am fire alarm, waiting for the fire department to give the okay to go back in?1
-
Was it a false alarm? And doesn’t that go against Westin’s Sleep Well pillar? (Do you now know which brand I worked for, for more than a decade?)1
-
While I'm thankful that it was a false alarm, aren't I now unable to get back to sleep?0

Would you like a terribly sung lullaby to help you fall back asleep? And if that doesn’t help wouldn’t it at least make you laugh?1

Doesn't that sound like the perfect solution to my problem?1

Oh goodness, wasn’t that rude of me? 😳0

Wait...just what are you saying, @srazamora? 😠😜 Is THAT the reason she married me, I had the "right" first- and middle-initials?
While we're on the subject of username, does yours identify as you as Senora Zamora?0 -

You aren't familiar then with the Kelvin scale?
Doesn't the Kelvin scale start at absolute zero (0°K)?
And since a degree on the Kelvin scale is the same size as a degree on the Celsius scale, as opposed to the Fahrenheit scale, doesn't 0℃ occur at 273.15°K and 100℃ occur at 373.15°K?
Hmmm, why do you suppose Kelvin is used virtually exclusively in scientific contexts, and not in our every day lives? ("Wasn't it cold today, not even 270°K?")
