Isn't that interesting? Haven't I personal knowledge of only medical (breech birth, pre-existing medical conditions) and emergency procedures and couldn't imagine choosing (US elective) for non-medical reasons (convenience, a specific date)?

Isn’t it fabulous my midwife and OB gave me full control of choosing vaginal or caesarean birth for my baby estimated at 12 pounds so I could maintain control over my own body?

12 lbs?? Isn't it understandable that you'd want control in that situation?

Wasn't I a big baby as well, and didn't my mother love me anyway? 😂
(Did I perhaps not fully comprehend her meaning when she said "you're such a pain"?)
((Didn't I add that for comic effect, even though she never said it?)) 😂

What about the case where my wife worked with our doctor so our youngest daughter could be born the day before my military deployment, so that I could hold her once should the worst happen?

Doesn't that sound like a very specific good reason? And aren't we all happy for you that the worst didn't happen while you were deployed?

Aren't I visiting family, waiting for dessert to be served, after which time I'll happily go home and take a nap?
