    “bacon sushi”? 😬

ROFLMAO, do you realize how loudly I laughed when I read this? Care to guess how many coworkers in my cubicle farm enquired what was so funny?

Can you believe my wife and daughter prefer CHEWY bacon over CRISPY? What kind of monsters do I live with?

Will I ever understand the allure of —gasp— chewy bacon? Would you believe someone I know likes his so chewy that the rest of the rest of us refer to it as “bacon sushi”? 😬

Didn't I miss this post earlier?
Bacon sushi... isn't that a recipe for how to ruin two delicious foods? 🤢

Do you know another one? Has anyone ever been served raw shrimp? Isn't it sometimes risky to order Chef's Choice at a sushi restaurant?

Would you believe I once had raw prawns, head and all, right off a fishing boat in the harbour in Oslo, Norway? Don't I have doubts whether they were in fact raw or boiled on the boat? Didn't I need a lesson in how to dehead and devein the prawns?
Since at the time the only way I would eat shrimp is battered and deep fried, wasn't I talked into this by a fellow American tourist saying how could I miss out on this opportunity, plus the fact that all the local Norwegians were doing it? 🦐😲🤔😋

How detailed did you end up getting, @nossmf, when responding to their inquiry? Did you leave it at bacon sushi or did you expound upon the fact that many of us gather here regularly to ask question after question?

When sharing this thread with non-threaders, are you required to comply with thread rules and use only questions during the explanation?

If you played by those rules, were you successful?

Who said I played by those rules? Can a guy simply ask a hypothetical question around here? ;-)

How long do you think it would take your coworkers to catch on if only speaking in questions all day?

Don’t we all have a habit of over complicating things? 😄

Wouldn’t that not only be determines by the person’s cleverness and wit, but also by their ability to keep a straight face?

Shall I try first with coworkers, or with my annual salary-review meeting?

Don’t you think that might make them worry you might be spending a large part of your work day thinking up questions?

Would that not be part of the job requirement for a think-tank? Could there be a more perfect job for any of us in this thread?

Does that job exist, @nossmf ?! Where can I apply? Should my resume be made up entirely of questions??

Why don't employers appreciate humorous and creative resumes?

Is it possible they DO appreciate them for a momentary amusement, even if they ultimately reject them as not appropriate for the job they are trying to fill?

Is it possible they just put out job listings to get humorous resumes?

Do you remember back in the day when you could just walk into a workplace and get a job without hours of online applications?

Have you ever been recruited for a job and didn't have to apply at all?

Since I work freelance, relying solely on word-of-mouth marketing, doesn't that happen to me all the time?

Wouldn’t I welcome something as wonderful as that? How lucky do I have to be for something to fall in my lap like that?

Who is looking for self-promotion advice in order to be recruited for a job?

Wouldn’t I much rather be recruited for a job than have to go on applying for jobs without hearing back from most of them?
