Might the updates in March fix the issues posting here?

Do you think @nossmf can wait that long?

Is it as good or better than "Stranger in a Strange Land"?
How does it compare to Asimov's "Foundation Trilogy"?

Which book would you say is best?

Isn't that impossible to answer (even as an answer instead of a question 😏)?
Aren't those as different from one another as they are from 2001: A Space Odyssey?

What should we title the replacement questions only thread?

How about, "Are you questioning me?"

    What about "MFP interrogation station"?

Debating the name of the new thread so we can retire this one?

    Why retire it?

How about “Can you keep it going AGAIN asking ONLY QUESTIONS?”

Shall we first see what happens after the update to rich text editor?
Is it naively optimistic to think the update could fix rather than break things?

Or wait til it's an even 3500 pages so it can be called “Can you keep it going asking ONLY QUESTIONS (Volume 2 3501-7000)?”?

What about the double-entendre title "WHAT is the answer?"

    Why retire it?

Did you not read earlier in this very thread how the very length of the thread is causing lag when clicking "post reply" which can lead to some responses actually not being incorporated into the thread? Such as the first time I tried posting this exact response, had to eventually click refresh, and my creatively constructed question was now absent? TWICE???

Have you not learned by now to copy your queries so you can paste them over and over until they post?

Do you all have to do that? It doesn't just show up w/ error, but post fine anyway?

Hasn't it happened both ways for me?

Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous I need to do this?

Did I say it wasn't ridiculous?

Forgive me, you did not, but my perception was that multiple people were asking why change is necessary and/or making excuses for how it's "not that bad"...can we have a vote whether we should retire this thread in favor of a new model?

Could Frank be right about waiting for the new editor? Isn't that only one more day?

Aren't I anxiously waiting to find out tomorrow 1) whether this thread is fixed, and 2) whether I will be "happy" with the rich text editor?

Any bets on whether the average poster even notices the change?

Wouldn't I bet probably not, although might the ability to paste rich text be noticeable to some? Aren't I hoping that helps offset my disappointment over losing the ability to use colored text?

Were you thinking it would change at the stroke of midnight? 😉

Won't we know it's been updated when we no longer see "You can use BBCode in your post" immediately below the comment box? 🤔

Hey, what happened? Something seems different, but what is it? 🤔

    Aren't I [b]shocked[/b], [i]dismayed[/i] and [color=blue]disgruntled[/color]?

(And don't we now have the answer to whether or not the editor update would fix the timeout issue?)
