Is there a way to favoritize, or in some way, save a recipe from the blog so I can search my own saved recipes.

You can "star" it by clicking on the icon in upper right. Then access it by clicking on the star at top of page. There might be slicker techniques but this what I do.0

I don't see a star. There is one on this page that I see, but not on the recipes.0

I don't know of a way to bookmark those here on MFP. I use a Chrome extension to save them to Evernote and check them out on my iPad when I cook them. I'll sometimes bookmark them, too, so I'll have the link to use for the recipe builder.

Have you considered copying (click and drag) the recipe text and pasting it in a word processing document - My Favorite Recipes. Then you can do a search in that file.0
