Hello, 32 year old new dad trying to get healthy. I've been logging food for a month now with average of 14k calories per week and had no weight loss. Does anyone know what an optimal calorie target is to lose weight each week. Also, is just calorie counting enough. What exercise should I be doing to help me on my journey? And if anyone has the secret to doing all this with a 3 month old baby I'd love to hear how you do it!

First and foremost, congrats and welcome to parenthood! I gave birth to a boy a year ago and ive lost over 50 pounds.Walking was helpful and when the baby is asleep you can do exercise videos. My only advice is really start slow to avoid injury,be mindful of what you are eating (plan ahead...failing to plan is planning to fail, and enjoy your beautiful baby. Best wishes.0
